Because the Yellow Line Fades Away in the Evening Darkness”です。
Track1. It’s a Wise Child
Track6. Because the Yellow Line Fades Away in the Evening Darkness
The first track on the EP, “It’s a Wise Child,” has four versions, the fourth of which is “It’s a Wise Child,” and the third is the last track, “Because the Yellow Line Fades Away in the Evening Darkness”.
Did you notice that the lyrics of these two songs are the same, but the meanings of the words are different?
I didn’t until recently. When I listened to the EP for the first time, I thought, “They are the same words, but they are completely different.
I had heard cover versions of certain songs before and thought, “It’s the same word, but it sounds different,” but when I heard it for myself, it was not only new, but surprising.
Maybe it was for this reason that I had to redo the process over and over for more than a year…not really, but maybe it was for this reason in the end.
In the beginning, the children were in my memory and imagination, but by playing the guitar again and singing the song again, they became real and saw the light, talked and ran around in the same space…or was it?
I thought it was like a miracle that the meaning of the same words could change, of the lyrics I had written in the past.
